Most of us look forward to the Fall Festival season! We’ve done the research, and have now compiled a great list of the 2023 Fall Festival schedule for Gainesville FL and the surrounding areas. We all have our favorite festivals, so you can now mark your calendars. Make plans to attend one that you haven’t been to also. We’re all hoping for some beautiful fall weather.

September 9th, 2023 – The 1st Annual Fabulous 50’s Festival – Sock Hop and Classic Car Show
Come Boogie Woogie Back in Time on Saturday September 9th, 2023 – Historic DowntownStroll the car show, take in the art walk, dance the night away to classic 50’s with our live concert from “Chrome 57” and enjoy some delicious treats from one our restaurants or food trucks. Hours: 4pm to 8pm.
October 21st & 22nd, 2023 – Cedar Key Seafood Festival
53rd Anniversary for the Cedar Key Seafood Festival This major event features well over 200 arts and crafts exhibits, and great local seafood in City Park. There will be live musical entertainment at several places around town during the days and nights, and a parade on Saturday morning.The festival offers fine food, entertainment, shopping and family fun and is supported by sponsorship from the Florida Department of Agriculture’s Fresh From Florida Seafood promotion program.
October 22nd & 23rd 2022 – Fall Arts Festival at Thornebrook
The 38th Year for The Fall Arts Festival at Thornebrook is a two day festival of 75 fine arts and fine crafts under the covered walkways and on the grassy areas and plaza of Thornebrook Village on NW 43rd St. Fine Arts, crafts, Food, Music, Entertainment. Location: Thornebrook Village Shops. 2441 NW 43rd Street, Gainesville FL. WHEN: 10am to 5pm.
October 28th & 29th, 2023 – The 47th Annual Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival
This fall festival in Micanopy is this town’s biggest event! There will be live music, local art displays, a live auction, food, arts and crafts. The festival is held on the main street in Micanopy and will take place from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and 9:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday. Micanopy is located 12 miles south of Gainesville off of Hwy 441. Info: www.micanopyfallfestival.org
October 14th, 2023 – McIntosh’s Fall 1890’s Day Festival
The 50th Anniversary ! Residents will dress up and make the town look like it did in 1890. People come from miles around to experience this great festival in the small historic town. There will be arts and crafts booths, along with concessions stands, and entertainment. The festival will start at 8:00am and close at 5:00pm. McIntosh is located 20 miles south of Gainesville off of Hwy 441 RAIN OR SHINE !!! 8am to 5pm Rain or Shine!! Info: www.friendsofmcintosh.org
November 4th & 5th, 2023 – The 1st Annual Sunflower Festival
1st Annual Sunflower Festival at The Bryer Patch! Our sunflower festival will be Saturday, November 4th and Sunday, November 5th, 10am- 6pm both days. We have awesome food and non-food vendors lined up! Location: 5700 SW 250th Street, Newberry FL 32669. $12 admission fee per person. 2 & under free
November 4th, 2023 – The 16th Annual Stone Crab Jam Music Festival
560 North Citrus Avenue, Crystal River, FL 34428 ONE DAY ONLY! Noon until 10pm Kings Bay Rotary Club Charitable Foundation Adult Tickets are $15. CASH with 12 & under FREE * ATM’s are near and inside the JAM. Visit their site for ticket information: *Parking near the JAM is Free or at a FEE.
November 18th & 19th, 2023 – The 42nd Annual Yankeetown Arts, Crafts & Seafood Festival
Held on the tree-lined boulevard of Riverside Drive in Yankeetown an old Florida coastal village on Floridas Nature Coast. Free admission and family fun. More info at Yankeetown Seafood Festival web site. Inglis Yankeetown Lion’s Foundation sponsorship. Festival Entrance located at the corner of 63rd Street and Riverside Drive in Yankeetown, FL
November 18th & 19th, 2023 – 42nd Annual Downtown Festival and Art Show
Presented by the City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, this festival is expected to draw a crowd of over 100,000 people. There will be over 240 artists, food vendors, preforming arts, children’s arts, and culinary arts; as well as a variety of showcased artists that display their work. Dogs are permitted on leashes. Held in the streets of downtown Gainesville, the hours will be 10:00am – 5:00pm both days. Parking in the City parking garage, 2 blocks west of Main Street.
December 2nd & 3rd, 2023 – The Annual Craft Festival at UF-O’Connell Center
The Craft Festival provides an excellent opportunity to shop for unique merchandise and gifts and features hundreds of different vendors. Come find something special for yourself or that hard to shop for person in your life. Admission at the Door $6.00. Hours: 10am to 5pm both days.
