Here is some great news for gardeners & farmers in Gainesville & Alachua County.   Get your soil tested for Free on Saturday !

The UF/IFAS Alachua County Cooperative Extension Office is pleased to announce the upcoming IFAS Extension Soil Testing Open House  on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Soil Testing Lab (631 Wallace Building).  Download the flyer here!
Gainesville Gardeners
Come and receive free soil pH testing of your yard, garden or farm.  ***  Plan to bring at least 1/2 cup of representative soil sample from the top 6 inches of your garden area.

Additional information available: soil and nutrient management, urban turfgrass, Florida-Friendly™ Landscaping, vegetable crops, and more. There will be UF/IFAS experts available to answer all of your questions.
