The chart below shows Gainesville’s NEW LISTINGS, PENDING SALES, and the CLOSED SALES for the month of December 2014 were UP from our previous month. Our local market has strong indicators of a balanced market.
The Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors® provides their statistics to the Florida Realtors® each month and they compile statewide data that allows them to compile these reports. Closed sales show a decline of 5% for December compared to last year. Yet our months supply of inventory has declined 10%. Proof that our market is shifting to a balanced market.
This chart above provides a detailed breakdown of the Gainesville FL Real Estate Market for the Month of December 2014. Our “Months Supply of Inventory” is down by 10.2%.
