The chart below shows Gainesville’s NEW LISTINGS, PENDING SALES, and the CLOSED SALES for the month of January 2015 were down from our previous month. This is a normal situation for January each year. Our local market has strong indicators of a balanced market.
The Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors® provides their statistics to the Florida Realtors® each month and they compile statewide data that allows them to compile these reports. Closed sales show a increase of 10% for January compared to last year. Yet our months supply of inventory has declined 4%. Proof that our market has shifted to a balanced market.
This chart above provides a detailed breakdown of the Gainesville FL Real Estate Market for the January 2015. Our “Months Supply of Inventory” is down by 4.6%.
