Gainesville Florida Real Estate Market Report for Single Family Homes Sold in February 2016.  Here you will find the recent three-month statistics for Gainesville real estate market report for single family homes during February 2016

The chart below shows Gainesville’s NEW LISTINGS, PENDING SALES, and the CLOSED SALES for the last 3 Months.   New Listings are UP this month to 352 for February.  Our PENDING contracts are also UP to 320, and this is a very good sign for the upcoming Spring market. Closed Sales are also UP to 163 for February. We are expecting a HOT real estate market this season!

Gainesville Real Estate Market Report

The Gainesville-Alachua County Association of Realtors® provides their statistics to the Florida Realtors® each month and they compile statewide data that allows them to compile these reports. Let’s look at stats for Feb 2016 compared to Feb 2015.  Closed sales show an 11% increase from last year. Yet our months supply of inventory has declined 27%, and this shows a trend to our low inventory of homes for sale.  Pending sales are UP almost 17%.  Another very interesting stat is the Median Time To Contract, which showed 62 days for 2016. Homes are moving faster. The average sales price is UP 9% and these are very good numbers!  Call us for any questions about the Gainesville Real Estate Market.
