The Huntington community a spacious Gainesville neighborhood of executive-style, contemporary homes on large wooded lots. The main entrance is located on NW 39th Avenue at NW 53rd Street. Huntington residents like to walk or bike to shops, restaurants nearby. This location provides an easy commute to all areas of Gainesville including UF & Santa Fe College, Shands or NFRMC. In addition to the I-75 exit at NW 39th Ave is west of the Huntington neighborhood.
What’s the Neighborhood Like?
All Huntington homes on on large lots, and all are over 1/3 acre and can be up to one acre depending upon the different areas within Huntington. Most of the homes were built by Barry Rutenberg when the neighborhood was developed by Rutenberg in the late 1990’s. There is a variety of floor plans and sizes that meet the execute-style criteria with contemporary & open floor plans. Many homes have wonderful updates, and many homes have private swimming pools.
