South Pointe is a beautiful neighborhood of single family homes that is conveniently located in NW Gainesville, and west of I-75 with entrance on Newberry Road. It’s not uncommon to see neighbors at the Community Pool and Playground area. South Pointe has side walks, street lights, underground utilities and green space.
What’s the Neighborhood Like?
The homes you would expect to find for sale in the South Pointe Neighborhood are generally going to range between 1700 and 2800 square feet. South Pointe was originally developed as a Larry Ross community and the next generation (Scot Ross) is building new homes in South Pointe, New Generation Home Builders. Many of the existing homes have had updates and it’s not uncommon to find homes that have interior updates, fenced backyards, screened in rear patios, and two-car garages. The smallest homes in the neighborhood start with three bedrooms & two baths while the larger floor plans have a four+ bedrooms and three bath layout, and a variety of different floor plans. There is also a special area of South Pointe with “Garden Homes”. There is another NEW phase of South Pointe currently underway.
