The Hammock neighborhood lies along both sides of scenic Millhopper Road in NW Gainesville. There are multiple entrances to The Hammock. Two are on the south side of Millhopper Road at NW 91st Blvd, and NW 97th St. The there is a 3rd entrance to The Hammock on the North side of Millhopper Road at NW 97th Street. Easy shopping, banking, restaurants & more at the Hunter’s Crossing Shopping Center. And don’t forget the bike lanes along Millhopper Road. Easy access to San Felasco State Park too. The nature will be in your backyard in this neighborhood.
What’s the Neighborhood Like?
Each home in The Hammock is situated on large lots that vary in size. The smallest are 1/2 and there are some homes over 2 acres. All homes in The Hammock were custom built and started in 1977. The size of the homes may vary also. There is a beautiful tree canopy, and there are some private lakes in The Hammock also. There is a mandatory home owner association fee, and the fee is based on property size, and most are $ 550 per year. The north side section of The Hammock also borders San Felasco State Park property.
