Gainesville Real Estate Business
Gainesville Real Estate is Great! Although it’s been a slow market compared to 2005-2007, it’s been a productive year in spite of it all. Happy sellers and VERY happy buyers in 2010. Now at the end of 2010, it’s time for me to reflect on the year. Analyze, access, and reflect. It’s a time to re-group and plan for the new year ahead. I’ve never been one to brag, but I want to share my feelings about this long year. In summary, it’s been a GREAT year for my business in Gainesville real estate.
I’m thankful to LOVE what I do.
I love helping people buy a home. I love helping people sell a home. There are always people moving into and out of beautiful Gainesville. It’s life. I enjoy being part of a family’s transition to the next chapter in their lives.
I enjoy what I do – no matter how negative the market can be. Life is never boring in the real estate business. There is always a new challenge, something new to learn, and a new goal to set and achieve.
Yet the market stats are tough. The general “water cooler” and inner office talk is negative about the market. The sellers are frustrated and feel like a needle in a haystack, competing with other homes on the market. The buyers have been hesitant with each night’s evening news and high inventory to sort through. A buyer needing a mortgage is no easy task getting to the closing table. A distressed seller waits in limbo for months on short sale negotiations. “Patience” has been the word of the year. What a year it’s been.
I’ve been blessed to have so many buyers this year. I appreciate all the referrals from other agents. Some from the RE/MAX network, some from the ActiveRain network, and some from previous clients. I like that my business growth is directly related to “working by referral”.
I am blessed with the best clients in the world and appreciate each and everyone of them.
Gainesville is a great place to live. If you have a friend wanting to know more about the Gainesville real estate market, please let me know. I’ll do my very best to help them find a wonderful home in beautiful Alachua County, Florida.
