Private Library…or a Water Closet
I’ve got some great buyers…..YIPPIE !!! I am sure you know I love buyers.
I always tell my buyers, that there is no such thing as being a “picky buyer”! Just let me know your wants and your don’t wants. One of my current buyers is from Atlanta, and they have a couple of specific items on their “wish list”.
One is a luxury master bath with 2 sinks.
AND
Two is the master bath must have a “water closet”.
OK, OK, that is the official name of what we all know as a toilet in a closet – you know….with a door you can close and be all alone on the “potty”.
When I show homes, I alway say that we call it the “private library”. That always gets a laugh.
HERE’S MY COMPLAINT (AKA Suggestion BOX)
Our MLS Database input sheets have all kinds of options to provide detail. Examples: luxury bath, jetted tub, master on ground floor, fireplace, alarm systems, etc, etc.
YET, currently there is no way to determine if a luxury master bath does in fact have a WATER CLOSET. So it’s time to file a suggestion to the local board, and our MLS Internet Provider to see if we can get that added. (Remember: we are not supposed to take photos of toilets)
I must have called 30 Realtors on the phone to find out if their listings had the WATER CLOSET feature. I didn’t want to show homes that had an “open potty feature”. I know you are giggling at me now. It sure would have saved time to have that data right there on our MLS. But, hey it was a way of “QUIZZING” the listing agents. Does the home have a private library/water closet in the master bath???
And, my buyers were very happy to be shown homes that had the features that they wanted!
