Building A Custom Luxury Home in Gainesville

Here’s a great story of how some home buyers from Kansas are now building their custom, luxury home in Gainesville FL.   It all started last year when they came for a visit to negotiate their employment contracts.   Of course on their visit here, we started looking at Gainesville neighborhoods to see what they liked and did not like.

We looked at resale homes.  Some were great, some were not….but nothing was just “perfect”.

I’m a firm believer in the fact that my buying clients will “feel” the right home in their hearts.  And if things just aren’t right, then we keep looking.  That hold true for buyers that don’t have specific “gotta move in” dates too.  So why not build??

So….we started looking at builder models and visiting builders sales centers.

Some luxury home builders in Gainesville have available lots.  So, if you like a specific builder, then that Gainesville builder will have a list of lots/parcels for a buyer to select.    But, some luxury builders in Gainesville do NOT have their owned lots or parcels.  After speaking with several builders, my buyers had selected their Builder, who created their luxury home’s floor plan and features.  We wanted to find an Open-Builder Lot.

The Gainesville builder they chose did not have any parcels in his inventory, so we needed to find the perfect piece of land for their custom home’s construction.  The land search begins!!   I like to call it searching for dirt!  

Finally, we found just what they wanted.  MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!

Building A Custom Luxury Home in GainesvilleSo here is their beautiful 5 acre parcel in the Gated Community of Wyndsong Manor.  Wyndsong Manor is located in the Jonesville area of Gainesville.   There are three remaining lots in Wyndsong.

Construction is underway!!
