I Got a Feeling About Gainesville

February 27, 2011 by Chris Bohn

I Got a Feeling About Gainesville

On this bright, warm, Sunday afternoon….I got a feeling. A feeling that sums up what’s happening in Gainesville, Florida’s real estate market. I don’t have any specific market stats on this blog post. Just a gut feeling.  Our local real estate market is showing signs of better activity!

I Got a Feeling About GainesvilleSome might call it Spring Fever…(although it’s February 27th) and we have had a week of Spring like weather. I expect we will have another cold spell before spring settles in, but it’s almost embarrassing to be talking to one of my new buyers in New York when they ask me about the weather, and I shared it was 80 degrees.   Their response to that is “that’s why we are moving to Gainesville-we can’t handle the snow anymore”.

It’s based on a few specific things over the last couple of weeks.

  • Increased Traffic on all of my lock boxes.
  • Increased  Number of Sign Calls
  • Increased Number of email inquiries on listings.
  • Increased Number of motivated buyers

Is it mortgage interest rates?

Is it excellent prices on Gainesville homes?

Is it rock bottom prices on Gainesville condos?

Is it Spring Fever?

IT SURE IS !!

Bring it on!

If you are considering moving to Gainesville, and are starting your research online, then I am glad you found this blog post.  I am here to help every step of the way.   Let’s talk about YOU and YOUR Family’s plans to find a wonderful home in beautiful Gainesville.
