35 Year Anniversary
Today is November 25th, 2014. I feel like this is going to be a “Dear Diary” post. It’s my 35 Year Anniversary.
Thirty five years ago today, there was this skinny 19 yr old girl from Cutler Ridge that walked down the aisle of Perrine-Peters Methodist Church and stood at the alter and married a 20 yr old young boy from Carol City. He worked for Midas International and she worked for Chase Federal Savings and Loan. Chris and Warren’s life together began…….we were in love, young, naive, and had hopes for the future.
I can’t believe it’s been 35 years. Where does the time go?
There have been ups and downs. Easy roads and hard trails. There has been plenty of “for better” and “for worse”. We’ve also had our fair share of “in sickness” and “in health”. We also have plenty of true stories to support the “for richer and poorer” vow also.
Our biggest claim to fame was our son Michael, born in 1993 and now 21 years old.
Now, we are older and smarter and still have hopes for the future with love filling our hearts and our home.
Life has been good to us.
